Generally I like to choose my own poison, but this time I can’t help but quote a line (or two) from Floyd:
" We don’t need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it’s just another brick in the wall.
All in all you’re just another brick in the wall."
Motif: Thats my niece, she has just received a serious scolding from her mom for not being serious enough with her education in recent days. At the very moment I took the shot, she was looking out of the window, her eyes laden with envy at those street children playing in the streets below, free as a bird but destined to become the scums of the society, thugs,pimps,drug-dealers…but at least they are having their haydays spent amidst lameller fun. I too had a joyful childhood, tucked away in those hick cities far away from our capital..where you can have a childhood and still turn out to be ideal citizens in time… what happened to that lifestyle? Has the metal maze changed us for good..or bad (pun intended)?
